Thank you for visiting. My name is Felipe Martinez Carbonell.

I’m an Argentinian/American filmmaker. Born and raised in Argentina, I currently live and work between Los Angeles and Miami. I have developed my craft in the film industry for more than a decade.

As a producer/writer/director/editor my short films have been selected and awarded in dozens of prestigious domestic and international film festivals, such as: Oscar Qualifying Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival, HollyShorts Film Festival, and NFMLA co-hosted by the Academy of Motion Pictures. They’ve also been selected by the most important film festivals in the genre world such as: Screamfest LA, Fantaspoa, Fantafestival, Telluride Horror Show and many more. Currently, I have two short films in the festival circuit: “Imaginary Portrait” and “Followers” and am currently developing my first feature: “For Our Daughter”.

As an editor I was credited as an Additional Editor in the film “Wild Oats” directed by Andy Tennant, starring Shirley MacLaine, Jessica Lange and Demi Moore. I was also an Online Editor in the film “Dear Dictator” directed by Lisa Addario and Joe Syracuse, starring Michael Caine, Katie Holmes and Odeya Rush.

I have also produced and edited the behind the scenes of “The Amityville Murders” starring John Robinson, Burt Young and Paul Ben-Victor; “The Haunting of Sharon Tate” starring Hilary Duff, Jonathan Bennett and Lydia Hearst; and “The Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson” starring Mena Suvari, Nik Stahl and Taryn Manning all of them directed by Daniel Farrands.

Around 2012 I created HEMISFERIO FILMS to start directing and producing the stories that I always wanted to tell.

If you want to know more about me and my work, have a look around.

IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT WORKING WITH ME OR CONTACTING ME,

First of all: THANK YOU.

I’d love to hear from you.

Thank you again for reading.
